Soil Conditioner

SuMaC – Detailed Technical Information

Bioactivated Minerals (Ca, Mg, S & Si) — Biozyme technology for effective dissolution of minerals
Product Highlights
SuMaC is a nano-enabled formulation containing bioactivated Calcium, Magnesium, Sulphur and Silicate that enhances nutrient availability and improves nutrient uptake by plants. Its advanced formulation supports efficient absorption and translocation of essential minerals throughout the plant system.
As a soil conditioner, SuMaC improves soil health. It strengthens root development, enhances plant vigor, promotes healthy microbial activity, and helps crops tolerate environmental stress, resulting in improved growth, quality and productivity.
Key Benefits
Mode of Action & Mechanisms
1. Soil Conditioning
  • Enriched with Calcium (Ca), Magnesium (Mg) and Sulphur (S)
  • Designed to improve the physical, chemical and biological properties of the soil
  • Enhances the soil environment upon application and raises nutrient availability in the root zone
2. Cellular Strengthening (Calcium)
  • Helps strengthen plant cell walls
  • Supports healthy root development
  • Contributes to improved soil aggregation
3. Photosynthesis & Growth (Magnesium)
  • Central component of chlorophyll
  • Plays a vital role in photosynthesis and energy production
  • Promotes vigorous vegetative growth
4. Protein Synthesis & Metabolism (Sulphur)
  • Essential for protein synthesis and enzyme activation
  • Contributes to the formation of amino acids
  • Supports overall plant metabolism and crop quality
Rhizosphere & Nutrient Efficiency Mechanism
  • Promotes beneficial microbial activity in the soil
  • Improves nutrient use efficiency
  • Helps maintain a healthy rhizosphere
  • Supports continuous nutrient availability through balanced nutrient composition
  • Reduces nutrient losses
  • Creates favourable conditions for sustained crop growth and development
Recommended Dosage

Dosage: 50–100 kg per hectare

Application Timing
  • Apply during land preparation, at basal application or in the early vegetative stage to establish a healthy root zone
  • Additional applications may be made at critical growth stages for long-duration and nutrient-intensive crops such as vegetables, fruits, cotton, sugarcane and plantation crops, based on crop requirements and soil condition
Application Methods
1. Broadcasting
  • Apply uniformly to the soil by broadcasting
  • Follow with light incorporation into the soil or irrigation
2. Band Placement
  • Apply by band placement
  • Follow with light incorporation into the soil or irrigation
3. Root Zone Application
  • Apply near the root zone
  • Follow with light incorporation into the soil or irrigation
Soil Conditions
  • Apply when the soil has adequate moisture
  • If the soil is dry, irrigate immediately after application to facilitate nutrient dissolution and movement into the root zone
  • Avoid application in waterlogged soils
Compatibility
  • Compatible with most commonly used fertilizers
  • Compatible with soil-applied nutrient sources
  • Can be integrated with the recommended fertilizer schedule
  • Suitable as part of an Integrated Nutrient Management (INM) programme
Dosage Adjustment

The recommended dose should be adjusted according to the crop, soil fertility and agronomic recommendations.

Storage Guidelines
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
  • Use within 48 months from the date of manufacturing for better and optimal results
